A quick Introduction to AI chat-bots, kinda
Hello there, it’s Dmitrii, the CEO of Tareev Studio. A few months ago after a brainstorm on our Coversion Rate Optimization (CRO) policy we came up with a few ideas to boost conversions for our clients. And yeah, as you may have guessed already, one of our ideas that day was using AI-chatbots for interactions with users on our client’s web-sites. But is it worth it?
Long story short: oh boy, the results says that it really does!
…But there are a few things that you should know before going forward
Most AI-tools are cool but… well, useless
So, you know all those fancy AI tools we keep hearing about? They’re like the latest, shiniest toys everyone wants to play with. They can write stories, create pictures, or even pretend to be your chat buddy. Cool, right? But here’s a little secret: despite looking super awesome, a lot of them are kinda… well, useless.
Imagine you got a robot that’s supposed to clean your room, but instead of picking up toys and clothes, it just moves them from one spot to another. Looks busy, but your room’s still a mess. That’s what’s going on with ±90% AI tools on market right know. do stuff, sure, but it’s not always the stuff we need to be done. And that is pretty much the thing we want to avoid when integrating something to commercial web-site. If this tool is not increasing our interaction / conversion rate and does not boost total visits we do have to let it go. Sad, but true.
So next time you see a new AI tool that everyone’s buzzing about, ask yourself: is it just another toy, or can it actually help me with something important? Because at the end of the day, the best tools are the ones that make our lives easier, not just more entertaining. And that was the question Tareev Studio was trying to answer with AI-chat bots before starting to integrate them to our client’s web-sites.
So, how may AI chat-bot affect your client?
A manager that answers with a speed of light. Every time.
First off, they’re super quick. Ask a question, and boom, you get an answer right away. No waiting around for a human to reply. It’s like having a helper who’s always on the clock, ready to assist you 24/7. And little do you know that about 40-50% of our client’s possible leads are already gone after third minute of waiting. Sure, most of the time the answering manager is there already and helps a new user to became a client, but it is not a stable solution and it has human risk every time. Have I forgot to mention that they do not have work hours?
Chat bots may not have a brain, but they may become smarter than a real person
Here’s the cool part: they’re AI chat-bots like sponges for information. They learn from tons of conversations, so they get better and smarter over time. This means they can provide more accurate and helpful responses the more they chat with people. However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, these bots can get a bit confused. Ever asked a question and got a totally unrelated answer? Yep, that’s a chatbot getting its wires crossed. They’re not perfect and can sometimes miss the mark on understanding what you’re really asking for.
Still you always have a way to make them smarter than your manager, but you will need some time to do it. Here in Tareev Studio we found out that we need for every single AI chat-bots
- 12+ days to train a specific or very complex bot that would help people with a different sets of questions and help clients get a detailed and correct information about company’s story, principles, terms, team and much more
- 7-10 days to train each standard bot for just helping people with services, products and terms of use of the company, so they can be smarter than the real person.
- 4-6 days to train a simple bot helping with a small set of services or a single service / product
It’s not instant but it is actually pretty fast comparing to other options that we have
AI-Bots do not have their own personality, so they will have the exact tone of voice you need
Imagine you’re writing a message and you want it to sound super professional.AI chat-bots can do that, using fancy words and formal phrases. Or maybe you’re brand-identity goes for a casual chat? No problem, the bot can switch gears and sound like it’s just chilling with you.
This is super handy because it means no matter who you are or what you’re looking for, the AI-bot can adapt its tone to suit you perfectly. It’s like having a personal assistant who knows exactly how to talk in any situation. So, remember, AI chat-bots are like voice chameleons, ready to match the tone you need, anytime, anywhere. Unless most of humans, unfortunately.
Bots are just more efficient than us, and they ARE getting better and better
So, what’s the bottom line? AI chatbots on websites and messengers can make getting information and help faster and more efficient. They’re like your always-available, ever-learning online helpers. Just remember, they’re not perfect and can’t fully replace human interaction, so we always want to have at least one real person for answering some complex questions from time to time and we want to give an opportunity to contact to real assistant our clients. But for quick questions and straightforward help, they’re pretty awesome and they do really let us lose less clients, for our statistics we are now losing from 18% to 27% less possible clients per project (failure rate in Google Analytics).
OK, you’ve read through this and you want to use AI-chat bot for your project. But which one is better? The market is already overhauled with them. Let’s make a choice!
NOT-TOP, but 3 Great Tools for AI chat-bots that we already use.

As you may guess, Chatbase.co is an AI-driven tool designed to help developers and companies build and optimize AI chat-bots. Chatbase can be a powerful tool for those who are serious about leveraging AI to create and refine chatbots, provided its features align with your specific needs and goals.
Although it does not provide a visual editor, it does provide a full API-integration to wherever you may need it. And that’s just nuts. - The code is kinda new: Solution is released on March 2, 2023 so it may be a little bit “dry” and may contain some bugs that are not tested yet. We had none yet, but we are ready to face them.
- You are almost all by yourself: The service has minimal customer support and service
